Safety education is one of the most important contents in safety management.It is the key measure of keeping the laboratories safe in universities.The significance of strengthening laboratory safety education for undergraduates and graduates was discussed.The function of safety education was expound.The methods of valid safety education were put forward,and the practice and effect of safety education were summarized recently in Tsinghua Univer-sity.
